MEET JEFF BRODY
Jeffrey
A. Brody, 53, is the founder of Litigators, Incorporated, a
plaintiff's firm that concentrates in medical malpractice relating to
birth trauma throughout the United States.
Mr.
Brody is especially concerned with birth trauma that results
in children born with cerebral palsy or brain damage. He greatly cares
about children with disabilities, not only through his personal experience
(his nephew was born with brain damage) but through his professional career
as well. In 1994 and 1995, he was the co-chairman of the Chicago Bar Association's
Committee on Delivery of Legal Services to Persons with Disabilities.
Also, he co-authored the Resource Guide for Persons With Disabilities,
1995. He is currently a pro bono attorney for the Legal Clinic for the
Disabled and a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, Birth
Trauma Litigation Group.
Mr.
Brody received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Northern
Illinois University in 1975. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 1978 from
Northern Illinois University College of Law. Immediately following graduation
he worked as an attorney in a large volume personal injury and medical
malpractice firm and eventually became the managing partner. He is currently
a member of many professional organizations, including the American Trial
Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association,
Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Workers' Compensation Lawyers
Association. In addition to his law practice, he arbitrates cases for
the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration Program. Mr. Brody resides in Wilmette,
Illinois, with his wife and three children.
